1. Red Dog AOTM, how do you feel about that?
Definitely wasn’t expecting it that’s for sure! Still shocked.
2. What attracted you to the club?
All of the sessions that have been made available and also that it caters for both social and competitive athletes.
3. How much training do you do at the moment?
My training is a mixed bag, I have been consistent and Tuesday and Thursday morning sessions but as for the others its luck of the draw.
4. Least favourite session and why?
Anything I have to do solo, I am not a big fan of training by myself.
5. If you had one wish, what would it be?
TOUGH… I wish that everyone was born equally and illnesses like cancer and life altering circumstances such as disability didn’t happen to those who least deserve it.
6. Favourite motivational quote?
Don’t blame distractions, improve your focus.
7. The one bit of advice I’d give to a newbie is …
Don’t hesitate, join, come chat and get healthy doing it.
8. My next race is …
Sunny Coast 70.3.
9. I couldn’t do without …
My awesome coaches, the great support from the Red Dog community and my fam bam at home, plus a special little Red Dog group… they know who they are.
10. What do you do outside of triathlons?
Outside of tri, I think of puns to email Trent in regards to my participation at events #absolutelyneighway. Plus I work and I am still at uni. Lastly I also take up eating as a full time job, it’s a love hate relationship.
11. What’s your one guilty pleasure?
I have way more than 1!
Food related – Sausage rolls
Other – Socialising
