Congratulations to Campbell on being selected as Red Dog’s Athlete of the Month September 2020
Campbell wins this months award for finishing second in his age group on debut at Ironman Cairns. Well done!

1.                       Red Dog AOTM, how do you feel about that?
Proud to be nominated, there are so many deserving athletes in the squad
2.                       What attracted you to the club?
The coaches and the camaraderie. First coached by Trent circa 2000 and Cath in 2008
3.                       How much training do you do at the moment?
Unfortunately don't fit in as much as Trent prescribes!
4.                       What’s your favourite RDTT session and why?
Saturday group ride is a great chance to catch up, pick up some training tips and get the weekend started
5.                       If you had one wish, what would it be?
Continue to be blessed with good health and loving family
6.                       Favourite motivational quote?
Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're probably right
7.                       The one bit of advice I’d give to a newbie is…
Trust the process (and the program)
8.                    Tell us in 20 words or less about your experience at Cairns Ironman?
Hot, humid and dehydrating! Warm wetsuit swim, scenic blowy bike, tough trudging run.
9.                     What do you do outside of triathlons?
Spend too much time looking in ears, noses and throats
10.                     What’s your one guilty pleasure?
Chocolate and biscuits - but only during Ironman prep!
