Congratulations to Dom Churchett on being selected as Red Dog’s Athlete of the Month for December 2020.

Dom wins this month’s award for his outstanding performance taking out the coveted Red Jacket at the Raby Bay Rumble. Well done!

  1. 1.Red Dog AOTM, how do you feel about that?

    I feel honoured and privileged to be recognised for my fluke at the rumble. Stoked to have my name among red dog legends Damo Thompson and John Martin.

     

     

    2.What attracted you to the club?

    The option of arvo swim squads and a no nonsense, hard hitting coach in Trent

                                                                                                                                                                                     

    3.How much training do you do at the moment?

    I dabble every now and again, try to do something daily as an outlet to keep me sane 

     

    4.What’s your favourite RDTT session and why?     

    Settled in for a good session at the Red Dog Christmas party with good company and good food 

     

    5.If you had one wish, what would it be?

    To have shoulders like Jack Morton

     

    6.Favourite motivational quote? 

    It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, as long as you beat Lucy White - everyone 1990-2020

      

    7.The one bit of advice I’d give to a newbie is…

    It doesn’t get any easier, you just get faster

    Looking forward to a big birthday weekend at hell of the west 

     

    9.What do you do outside of triathlons?

    Working in a hospital this year during covid has kept me pretty busy!

     

     

    1. What’s your one guilty pleasure?
    A big ol sleep in...or going to the front and dropping Trent on the Saturday group rides
