1.                       Red Dog AOTM, how do you feel about that?

Shocked.

2.                       What attracted you to the club?

I had seen the great work Trent had put into Simon Nash, converting him from a battling Boondall Under 12’s 25m medley runner-up to a force in the old fellas’s age groups.  I was just hoping even a little bit of that might rub off onto some of his mates – I am still waiting….

3.                       How much training do you do at the moment?

Nothing crazy – I try to just get something squeezed in somewhere everyday.

4.                       What’s your favourite RDTT session and why?

Tuesday Track – you know what you are going to get every time and it's good.

5.                       If you had one wish, what would it be?

Usually I would say be Anthony Kiedis but I think given the timing at the moment it would be pretty good for us all if COVID would finally f#ck off and everyone could get back doing their thing.

6.                       Favourite motivational quote?

Not much for these but if I had to – Theodore Roosevelt – “The Man in the Arena” quote.

7.                       The one bit of advice I’d give to a newbie is…

Just turn up, don’t over think it and enjoy the process – Red Man runs a great show – it's super relaxed and doesn’t allow anyone to take themselves too seriously – remember it's supposed to be fun.

8.                       I couldn’t do what I do without…

The massive support I get from my family and team I work with.  I am time poor and rely on good people allowing me some bandwidth to squeeze training in when I can – I am very grateful for that support.

9.                     What do you do outside of triathlons?

If I am not working then I am usually surfing, skating or kicking footballs with my kids.

10.                     What’s your one guilty pleasure?

Too many to mention but needless to say all this delivery app food (in particular ice cream) hasn’t done me too many favours!
