1: Red Dog AOTM, how do you feel about that?

Stoked as I haven't been with the squad for very long and there are always top performances at races from a number of members

2: What attracted you to the squad?

The talent of athletes within the squad that I could push myself against in training, the social aspect within the squad and the variety and times of sessions (midday/ tan time swimming)

3: If you were Red Dog coach for the week, what would you do differently?

Start the Saturday ride at 6am so we could have an hours extra sleep ;-)

4: How much training do you do at the moment?

Leading up to Gundi and Wanaka had some fairly long training sessions, close to 20hrs per week, currently having a recovery week before back into Olympic distance training

5: Least favourite session and why?

Probably wind trainer by myself cos I get bored sitting still and find it hard to keep focussed and pushing hard when I'm not going anywhere ;-) That, or stretching...

6: If you had one wish, what would it be?

To stand on top of the podium whilst representing NZ

7: Favourite motivational quote?

'If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you always got'

8: What advice would you give to other Red Dogs who would like to be AOTM?

Stay consistent with training even when you feel you aren't making improvements or doing as well as you would like in races, have belief in yourself and the program you are following and the results will come

9: What are your goals?

The next race is Mooloolaba where I hope to be competitive with the top girls in my age group. A long term target will be 70.3 world champs in Mooloolaba in 2016

10: Who would be your ideal training partner?

Someone who pushes me to go harder or faster than I would on my own.

11: What do you do outside of triathlons?

Huh outside of triathlon?.. :-P Go to the beach, catch up with friends

12: What's your one guilty pleasure?

Snacking on cereal, peanut butter with everything
